The solutions in our Uterine Health portfolio are designed for patient peace of mind, clinical confidence and effectiveness in treating heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB), protecting sexual and reproductive health, and improving diagnosis for premature birth.
NovaSure® Endometrial Ablation
If the cause of abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is not visible in the uterus, use the NovaSure® endometrial ablation procedure. This is a one-time, five-minute, minimally invasive procedure, performed in an outpatient or operating room (OR) setting.
Hysteroscopic Solution
If the cause of heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB) is visible in the uterus, use the MyoSure® tissue removal procedure. Tissue is visualised through the Omni® Hysteroscope and the workflow streamlined with the Fluent® fluid management system.
Rapid fFN® Test
If a patient has symptoms of preterm labour, it is vital to determine if her risk of preterm birth is real. The Rapid fFN® Test is recommended in the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines for the risk assessment of preterm labour and birth.
HPV Solution
HPV testing is advancing precision detection and the identification of women most at risk from cervical disease. The Aptima® HPV assay targets mRNA within the 14 high-risk types of HPV, identifying active and clinically relevant infection. This more targeted approach is beneficial for patients and maximises resources.1
STI Solution
The Hologic STI Solution supports sexual health testing with a comprehensive, flexible menu of CE-marked sexually transmitted infection (STI) assays. Our tests provide excellent sensitivity and specificity across a wide variety of targets. This instils confidence in diagnostic decisions and helps stop the spread of disease.2-7
Vaginal Health Solution
Traditional methods of diagnosis can be subjective for detecting infectious vaginitis. Overlapping symptoms and co-infections make the diagnosis a challenge.11 Our solution offers objective results for common causes of infectious vaginitis, Bacterial vaginosis, Candida vaginitis and Trichomoniasis.12-13
